Gil Bohadana

A wind instrument player and a landscape designer.

Traveled around the world for four years to such places as Australia, Central America and the Far East, collecting flutes and learning indigenous musical traditions.

Performed with various bands  playing original and ethnic music ,collaborated with dance-theatre production for the 2007 Karmiel International Dance festival as a composer and a performer.

Gil has been performing along with his wife, flutist Hagit Rosmarin creating the show Flutes around the Globe. They released 2 CDs in 2006-7 and toured the USA in 2008 and 2011.

Gil has been playing for children and adults with special needs using his unique instruments and working with sounds as a therapy tool.

 

Since 2001 Gil has been conducting his Eco-music project. As part of  this project Gil was invited to give workshops to children, youth and education students in England and the USA. Take part in Ecological festivals in Turkey and Switzerland , He is acknowledged by the ministry of environmental protection and was invited to perform for presidents Shimon Peres and Rubi Rivlin.

released  a CD  in 2010 "The groovy junkyard" playing the musical instruments made out of reused materials at the same year  released a Gide book for tauter and kids - how to make simple musical instruments from waste .

Gave lectures and Tv programs guiding on the same subject  

Gil integrates landscaping design with music by designing musical parks that contain unique musical instruments and educational centers. Some of his large  Musical instruments are presented in the Science Museum in Haifa and in many other educational and public pleaces in Israel.
